Raw donuts with coffee glaze

Raw protein donuts with cacao coffee glaze. Yeah, its true, all vegans eat is lettuce. Joke.coffee-donuts

For the raw purists, these donuts arent totally raw. But comparatively, they’re almost there.

2 cups almond meal

1 cup desiccated coconut

1/2 cup rice malt syrup

1 tbs coconut oil

3 tbs white chia seeds

2 tbs almond butter

1 scoop raw vegan protein powder *amazonia

8 organic medjool dates pitted

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Squash into a non stick donut tin, greased with a thin layer of coconut oil. Place in the freezer to firm for 30 minutes.

Glaze

1/2 cup raw cashews soaked overnight and drained and rinsed

1/2 cup cacao powder

2 tsp organic instant coffee powder

1/4 cup pure maple syrup or rice malt syrup

1/2 cup coconut oil

Blend ingredients until smooth. Remove donuts from tin, using a spatula glaze with coffee cacao icing. Keeps in the fridge.
